Since the main event between Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje won’t take place at UFC 274, the Michael Chandler vs. Tony Ferguson fight is sure to draw a lot of attention.

Chandler will start the fight with a 22-7 record and suffer two straight losses to Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje. Therefore, he is surely looking for a victory. Chandler fought Olivera for Khabib Nurmagomedov’s vacant belt. Then he fought Gaethje UFC 268 in New York. He lost the fight via unanimous decision.

On the other hand, Tony Ferguson will start the fight with a record of 25-6. Previously, he had an incredible record of 12 wins from 2013 to 2019. However, he is now down to three losing streaks. He has lost to Justin Gaethje, Charles Oliveira and Beneil Dariush in his last three fights.

Like Chandler, Ferguson will also be looking for a win. Therefore, both fighters will definitely give their best.

Usually the UFC does not publish the exact fight purse for most fights. Therefore, we analyze previous installments to find expected salaries.

In his last fight, Chandler earned $404,000, including $350,000 in base salary, $50,000 in performance bonus and $4,000 in sponsorship. Thus, Chandler is expected to earn over $350,000 at UFC 274.

On the other hand, Tony Ferguson earned $516,000 in his last fight against Beneil Dariush at UFC 262, and his base salary was $500,000. Thus, Ferguson is expected to earn around $500,000 at UFC 274.

However, the payments do not include any deductions for certain classified items such as licenses, insurance and taxes. In addition to that, PPV discounts are also not calculated here. Also, PPV payout and other incentive payouts will be added later after the event ends. Therefore, they might have won more, which we will update when disclosing the organizer.
